The Palace Theatres of Manchester, NH announces the appointment of Jennifer Parent as Chair of the Board of Trustees. Parent has been a board member since 2012 and has served as Vice Chair for the past two years. Parent succeeds Mark LaPrade, who has served as Chairman since 2018.
“Since Jennifer joined the Board of Directors in 2012, she has been a strong contributor to the ongoing success of The Palace Theatres in a variety of roles,” said LaPrade. “I am excited for her to take over as Chair and to lead the Board and The Palace through these uncertain times. Her energy and enthusiasm for the programs and the people of The Palace will definitely lead us in the right direction.”
Attorney Jennifer Parent is a Director and Chair of the Litigation Department at McLane Middleton, Professional Association. She has over 24 years of experience litigating and resolving disputes for companies and business owners in a wide range of complex commercial cases and employment matters. She has litigated in state and federal courts in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Parent has also represented companies in employment and tax abatement matters at the agency level and conducted workplace trainings.
She has been recognized by the American College of Trial Lawyers, Chambers USA: A Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers, and Best Lawyers in America 2020. She is the current Chair of the Drafting Committee of the American Bar Association. She is an Officer and serves on the Executive Council of the National Conference of Bar Presidents. She has served as President of the National Conference of Bar Presidents, NH Bar Association, and the NH Women’s Bar Association.
