McLane Middleton Adds Associates Laura Raymond and Eleanor Walker

Manchester, N.H., Woburn, Mass. (October 5, 2022) – The law firm of McLane Middleton is pleased to announce the hiring of attorneys Laura J. Raymond and Eleanor M. Walker.

Laura Raymond is an associate in the Litigation Department, where she represents clients in a variety of civil, commercial, employment, and probate matters. Laura earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law and her dual Bachelors of Arts in Mandarin Chinese and Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross. While in law school, she was a Daniel Webster Scholar, Chief Articles Editor of The University of New Hampshire Law Review, treasurer of the Student Bar Association, and a teaching assistant for Legal Writing and Analysis. Laura also externed with the Honorable Joseph N. Laplante of the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, Justices Anna Barbara Hantz Marconi and Patrick E. Donovan of the New Hampshire Supreme Court, and the New Hampshire Attorney General. She was a Warren B. Rudman Summer Fellow and a summer associate at McLane Middleton.

Ellie Walker joins the firm as an associate in the Corporate Department, where she advises business clients on transactional matters related to contract drafting, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions. Ellie earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. During law school, Ellie interned with the Honorable M. Kristin Spath of the Concord District Court, joined McLane Middleton as a summer associate, and spent a semester working in the Office of Grants and Contracts at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. She was also a Daniel Webster Scholar, Senior Editor for IDEA: The Journal of the Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property, board member of the UNH Law section of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association, and a teaching assistant for Legal Writing & Analysis and Dispute Resolution. Prior to law school, Ellie worked as an investment management paralegal at Ropes & Gray LLP in Boston.
