Tony is of counsel in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group and helps clients protect their business, from synchronizing patent and trademark strategies with business objectives, working with the US Patent and Trademark Office, business transactions, monetizing the business’ IP, or initiating or defending a lawsuit. Tony authored the 2001 Wiley book “Patent Strategy.” He is a former AmLaw 100 partner, former general counsel, and former patent examiner. In 2004, Tony founded the Boston area intellectual property law firm Miele Law Group which he managed until joining McLane Middleton in 2026. Tony has been involved with strategic alliances, acquisitions, public offerings, IP licensing, and various other international and domestic arrangements. In litigation, Tony and his team successfully enforced trademark and trade dress rights and helped lead high-stakes patent cases in Virginia, Texas, Delaware, Utah, and California. Tony received his J.D. from George Washington University, and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Western New England University. Justin is an associate the firm’s Corporate Department where he advises closely held businesses and entrepreneurs on a range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, entity formation and structuring, and non-profit compliance. He also regularly drafts and negotiates commercial agreements, such as vendor and servicing agreements, licensing agreements, and non-disclosure agreements. Prior to joining McLane Middleton, Justin was an associate at a Boston-based law firm focusing on corporate transactional matters and securities law compliance under SEC and FINRA regulatory frameworks. Justin received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law and his B.A. from Syracuse University, summa cum laude. During law school, Justin served as an Editor for Boston University School of Law’s Review of Banking and Financial Law. Victoria is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department and Real Estate Practice Group where she assists individuals and businesses with a variety of matters, including commercial and residential acquisitions and sales, leasing, landlord/tenant disputes, easements, and land use matters. She also assists individuals with intellectual property matters including trademark registration and protection. Victoria is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, where she received her J.D. and Intellectual Property Certificate. Before joining McLane, Victoria practiced at Bardorf & Bardorf, PC in Newport, Rhode Island where she focused on estate planning and administration as well as residential real estate transactions. Victoria graduated summa cum laude from Adrian College in Michigan with her B.A. in both Criminal Justice and Philosophy and earned an M.B.A. from Johnson & Wales University College of Business in Rhode Island. Kendall is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department where he advises emerging companies, investors, and strategic clients on complex corporate and technology transactions across the full business lifecycle. Kendall’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, venture and growth-stage investments, A.I. and strategic commercial transactions, with a particular emphasis on technology-driven and life sciences companies. He has experience representing both companies and investors in sophisticated transactions, including high-stakes public and private M&A deals, cross-border transactions, and strategic collaborations involving biotechnology, data, and advanced technology platforms. Kendall also brings a distinctive perspective at the intersection of law, business, and sports. Kendall received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center where he earned the Dean’s Award and his B.A. from the University of New Mexico where he received the Clauvé Presidential Award, the Sports Scholar Award and was a Division I – NCAA National Champion US National Team Qualifier.
