Nancy Dorr Named Paralegal of the Year
September 23, 2011, Manchester, New Hampshire: The McLane Law Firm is pleased to announce that Nancy Dorr has been named Paralegal of the Year by the President of the Paralegal Association of New Hampshire, (“PANH”).
Each year the President of the PANH presents this award to a nominated member of the organization who excels in promoting the paralegal profession within the community and general public through leadership, education, and networking; and carries a high level of professionalism by not only meeting, but exceeding expectations in the legal field.
Nancy has worked at McLane for the past eleven years, focusing largely on assisting the firm’s litigation attorneys in a variety of matters, including medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury and criminal defense. She has 30 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
Jennifer L. Parent, one of the attorneys who nominated Nancy, had this to say of her. “Those who have worked with Nancy have come to recognize her as a consummate professional, a caring colleague and someone who is unfailingly empathetic to the client’s particular needs.”
She readily mentors other in the department, and displays the highest degree of humanity and balance. Nancy was awarded McLane’s client service award in 2007.
She presently serves on the Hesser College Paralegal Advisory Board. She is a past President of the Paralegal Association of New Hampshire, has served as a chairperson on various committees of PANH, and was the National Association of Legal Assistants’ liaison for PANH for several years.
Nancy is a resident of Hillsboro, New Hampshire where she resides with her husband, Tom. They have three daughters, MacKenzie, Meredith and Reilly.
