About the Guest Speaker


Cathy Judd-Stein
Chair, Massachusetts Gaming Commission

Chair Cathy Judd-Stein was appointed by Governor Baker to the Massachusetts Gaming Commission after serving as his Deputy Chief Legal Counsel and Ethics Advisor for four years. Prior to her term with the Baker-Polito Administration, Ms. Judd-Stein was General Counsel to the Office of State Treasurer and Receiver after performing system reform work at the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission and at the Supreme Judicial Court.

Ms. Judd-Stein also served as Deputy Legal Counsel to Governors Paul Cellucci, Jane Swift, Mitt Romney and Deval Patrick as well as Executive Director to Governor Patrick’s Judicial Nominating Commission. She began her career at the former Boston law firm, Palmer & Dodge, after graduating from Dartmouth College and Harvard Law School.
