Presenters

Gena Lavallee is an experienced corporate attorney with McLane Middleton. She advises nonprofit and business clients on a wide array of legal matters. Gena has a broad range of legal expertise and experience, including entity formations, board governance matters, contract review and negotiation, and mergers and acquisitions transactions. Gena is an active member of the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce and an alumna of Leadership Greater Nashua (Class of 2024). She was a fellow in the 2021 Hoffman-Haas program organized by the NH Center for Nonprofits. Gena serves on the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter’s annual gala committee.

Sue is a Co-CEO at Lamprey Health Care. She is a registered nurse with over 25 years of experience in nursing and administration, focusing primarily in community health. Sue has led teams in program development, operations, quality, and risk management. She has a particular interest in developing services for vulnerable populations. Sue has a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from University of Colorado at Boulder, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from College of the Holy Cross, and an Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Rivier University. She is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ). Sue has served on the Advisory Board for the Women in Leadership Program at University of Vermont’s Grossman School of Business and is currently an active Board Member for Yoga in Action.

Jane Goodman is an experienced Public Health professional with a demonstrated history of working in a variety of non-profit organizations, e.g., respiratory health, oral health, food insecurity. Skilled in Change Management, Strategic Planning and Network Development, it has been an honor to take the reigns of the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter (NSKS) in June of 2023. Before joining the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter, Goodman worked as the Public Health Network Strategist for the City of Nashua Division of Public Health and Community Services, where she battled on the front lines of the pandemic and later spearheaded the development of the Community Health Improvement Plan. A returned Peace Corps volunteer in East Africa, her heart has always remained in working in the food insecurity space.

Dawn Reams has served as the Executive Director of Bridges: Domestic & Sexual Violence Support Services for the past 27 years. Dawn graduated from the University of New Hampshire (UNH) with a Bachelor of Psychology degree, and a Master’s degree in Counseling. It was while a student at UNH that she did an internship with the local domestic violence agency and knew that she wanted to work with survivors for the rest of her life. She was inspired by survivors’ resilience and courage and feels blessed to be able to share in their healing. Dawn has been a leader in the domestic and sexual violence movement in our state and beyond. She was recognized at the White House by President Obama for Bridges work with children who have experienced trauma. Dawn is also the recipient of the William D. Paine II award, the Telegraph’s 25 Extraordinary Women and the Parenting NH Magazine Community Hero award. She is proud to work in Greater Nashua and collaborate to make our community a better place to live, work and raise our children.

Hannah Stohler is the Executive Director of Marguerite’s Place, Inc., a non-profit providing transitional housing, child care, and community programs to women and children experiencing homelessness in Nashua, NH. Since 2019, Hannah has led Marguerite’s Place’s strategic vision, operations, business development and programs, resulting in measurable improvements in program outcomes, an active and expanded Board of Directors, and a 40% increase in organizational revenue. Hannah is deeply committed to upholding the inherent worth and dignity of every person that walks through the doors at Marguerite’s Place, and works to foster an organizational culture that is inclusive, collaborative, and highly relational. She is passionate about creative, cross-sector solutions to society’s biggest challenges, and helps to drive collaborative, community-level systems change to improve outcomes for all.
