The McLane Law Firm with four offices in Manchester, Portsmouth, and Concord, New Hampshire, as well as Woburn, Massachusetts, is pleased to announce that Beth A. Deragon, Esq. has joined the firm.
Beth’s practice focuses on counseling employers in employment matters and defending employers in employment litigation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. She counsels and trains employers on sound employment practices and policies in an effort to avoid litigation, including providing anti-discrimination training, reviewing employment contracts , conducting internal investigations, drafting and reviewing employee handbooks, and counseling through all phases of the employer/employee relationship.
Beth was named a New England Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2013 for her work in Labor & Employment Law. She was formerly a shareholder and director at Gallagher, Callahan and Gartrell, P.C. in Concord, New Hampshire, heading its Labor and Employment Practice Group.
She is a member of the NH Women’s Bar Association, Society of Human Resource Management, Human Resources Association-Greater Concord, Gender Equality Committee – NH Bar Association, Russian American Rule Of Law Committee, Daniel Webster-Batchelder American Inns of Court, and DRI- The Voice of the Defense Bar. She is also a member of the Community Review Team of Granite United Way.
Beth earned her M.A. from the University of Birmingham in Russian Language & Literature (1992) and her J.D. from the UNH School of Law (2005). She is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
