Catherine Hines to Present on Partnership and LLC Profits Interests at Tax Forum

The McLane Law Firm is pleased to announce that Catherine Hines will be co-presenting a seminar for attorneys and CPAs on partnership profits interests at the 31st Annual Tax Forum. The event will be held at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord, New Hampshire on October 30, 2013.

The session, part of a day-long event sponsored by the New Hampshire Bar Association and the New Hampshire Society of CPAs, will focus on IRS guidance and case law on partnership profits interests, the drafting of profits interest provisions, mistakes to avoid, distinguishing capital and profits interests, 83(b) elections, and pending carried interest legislation.

Catherine is an associate in McLane’s Corporate and Tax Departments. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School, her Masters of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan School of Public Health, and her B.A. from Cornell University, summa cum laude.
