January 1, 2009, Manchester, NH: The law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, Professional Association is pleased to announce that Mark Rouvalis has been elected Chair of the firm’s Management Committee.
Mr. Rouvalis joined the firm in 1989. A director in the firm’s Litigation Department since 1997, Mark focuses his practice on commercial and environmental litigation. An experienced trial attorney, he represents businesses and individuals before federal and state trial courts, and appellate courts in a variety of business matters. He works on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants in business and family partnership disputes, commercial litigation, construction disputes, products liability cases, insurance coverage disputes, employment litigation, utility litigation, as well as professional licensing and disciplinary matters. Mark’s practice also has a focus representing individuals and companies in cases involving personal injury and property damage resulting from environmental contamination. Mark has extensive experience in mediation and alternative dispute resolution, and is trained as a mediator.
Mark serves on the Board of New Hampshire Legal Assistance, and formerly served as Chair and Board member for the New Hampshire Lakes Association. He also served as Legal Counsel for the New Hampshire Democratic Party from 1997 to 2003.
He received his J.D. with honors from Boston College Law School in 1988 and his B.A. from Brown University in 1983. Mark lives in Concord with his wife Cynthia and their two children, Maria and Peter.
Joseph Foster, a director with the firm since 1991 and Chairman of McLane’s Bankruptcy Practice Group was also named to the Management Committee for 2009.
