McLane Attorney Abramson Named to Board of Governors for New Hampshire Public Television

The law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, Professional Association, with offices in Manchester, Portsmouth, and Concord, is pleased to announce that Ron Abramson, a lawyer in the Immigration and International Practice Group, has been appointed to a three-year term on the Board of Governors for New Hampshire Public Television’s(“NHPTV”).

NHPTV’s Board of Governors oversees and influences virtually every facet of public television broadcasting in New Hampshire, in particular focusing upon maintaining the station’s financial viability and ensuring NHPTV’s editorial integrity by fostering free and independent decision-making which serves the needs and interests of all citizens.

Abramson was tapped for membership on the Board in large part due to his diverse background, in light of his involvement with community-based Latino non-profits and recent time living abroad in his native Chile.

Citing the prominence of other Board members, Abramson noted that, “I’m extremely honored to serve in such prestigious company, working for an organization that provides an invaluable – and incomparable – public service in this state.” He added, ” In our increasingly polarized society, public television serves as a civil voice which strives to delve more deeply than others into issues which affect each and every one of us.”
