Manchester, NH – Attorney Nelson A. Raust, of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, recently joined the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. (NAELA), a non-profit association of attorneys concerned with improving the availability and delivery of legal services to older people. Attorney Raust is a member of the firm’s Trust & Estate Department. He is also a member of the Elder Law, Estate Planning and Probate Section of the New Hampshire Bar Association, and the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council.
The Academy was established in 1987 to provide a resource of information, education, networking, and assistance to attorneys who deal with the specialized issues involved with legal services to the elderly and disabled. Membership, which has grown to over 4,000, is open to licensed attorneys who are concerned with the issues associated with and practice in the area of elder law. The mission of NAELA is to establish members as the premier providers of legal advocacy, guidance, and services to enhance the lives of people as they age.
