Manchester, NH —The law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson and Middleton Professional Association is holding a “2003 Employment Law Update Seminar” Thursday, April 10 from 8:30am to 1:30 pm at the firm’s Manchester office located at 900 Elm Street, 10th floor. This seminar will offer invaluable information of what human resources and employers need to know about the new HIPAA privacy rules, the recent critical developments in employment law, the recent significant decisions impacting discrimination, family and medical leave law, information on new retirement plan rules, including the 401K blackout periods, COBRA updates, new IRS ruling on coverage of divorced spouses, as well as discrimination and harassment updates.

In addition to a panel discussion by McLane employment law attorneys on the crucial legal developments, there will be a lunch workshop addressing “Best HR Practices.” During this workshop, human resources professionals from several prominent New Hampshire companies will will lead a roundtable discussion on meeting the challenges of the job, including practices and policies that succeed or fail, areas where training is most needed, and anticipating, avoiding and minimizing the potential “big” problem.
