McLane Middleton Elects Jesse Angeley, Alexandra Cote, Andrew Hamilton and Ramey Sylvester as Directors

Manchester, N.H., Woburn, Mass. (Jan. 3, 2023) – The law firm of McLane Middleton, Professional Association is pleased to announce that attorneys Jesse S. Angeley, Alexandra S. Cote, Andrew R. Hamilton and Ramey D. Sylvester have been elected as directors of the firm.

Jesse is a member of the firm’s Corporate Department where he represents and advises business clients on a wide array of matters, with a focus on middle market mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, securities and corporate governance, and debt and equity financings. Jesse also regularly drafts and negotiates complex commercial agreements on behalf of clients including joint ventures, manufacturing and supply agreements, software as a service (SaaS) agreements and other technology and software licenses, IT services contracts, and software development agreements. Lexi is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. She assists clients with various civil litigation matters, primarily focusing on probate litigation, as well as land use, real estate, and environmental litigation. A large portion of Lexi’s practice is representing clients in partition actions, complex will and trust contests, capacity challenges, guardianship and conservatorship disputes, accounting actions, and other actions by and against fiduciaries.  Lexi also assists corporate and individual clients in a wide array of property issues, including nuisance, trespass, tax abatements, municipal permitting, and other real estate and land use matters. Immediately prior to joining McLane Middleton, Lexi worked as a law clerk for Senior Associate Justice Gary E. Hicks at the New Hampshire Supreme Court.  Before her time at the Supreme Court, Lexi worked for two years as a law clerk for the New Hampshire Superior Court, primarily supporting judges in Strafford and Carroll Counties. Andrew is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department where he assists clients in a wide variety of civil matters in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts.  His primary focus is on complex commercial and land use/real estate litigation, where he has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in multi-million dollar disputes.  As part of the firm’s education law group, Andrew assists independent school clients to resolve disputes in an efficient manner, in accordance with each school’s unique mission and character.  Andrew is also an experienced appellate advocate, having represented clients in numerous appeals, including presenting oral arguments to the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.  Andrew is an Executive Board member of the Boston American Inn of Court and was named an “Up & Coming Lawyer” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 2021.  Andrew can be reached in the firm’s Woburn office at (781) 904-2706 or andrew.hamilton@mclane.com.

Ramey is a member of the firm’s Corporate Department. Ramey’s practice focuses on business and transactional matters for a wide range of clients, with a particular concentration on mergers & acquisitions, private equity transactions, private offerings including Seed round and Venture Capital financings, and corporate governance. In addition to her corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and securities work, she also represents clients in an array of business and family immigration matters including naturalization applications, H-1B petitions, employment based green card applications, special immigrant juvenile petitions, and I-9 enforcement actions.
