Amanda is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department and a member of the Business Litigation Practice Group and Appellate Practice Group. She has argued several times before the First Circuit Court of Appeals and has also argued before the New Jersey Appellate Division. She has a passion for appellate work, as illustrated by her commitment to teaching Advanced Appellate Advocacy early in her career as an attorney and while practicing at McLane Middleton. Before rejoining McLane Middleton in 2020, Amanda clerked at the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court in 2019-2020 for Justice Scott Kafker.
Amanda also has extensive bench trial experience and practices in a variety of areas, specializing in commercial litigation while also litigating other matters like real estate disputes. Amanda received her J.D. from Vermont Law School (2018), where she graduated first in her class and was the recipient of the Learned Hand Award for Academic Excellence. Amanda also served as the Editor in Chief of Vermont Law Review. She received her B.A. in European Studies from Middlebury College (2010) and her M.A. in Political Science from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe Universität in Frankfurt am Main, Germany (2014). She is also an avid runner and elite triathlete.
