David Wolowitz and Susan Schorr to Present at TABS’ Summer Institute

McLane Middleton attorneys David Wolowitz and Susan E. Schorr will be presenting at The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS) upcoming Summer Institute on “Legal and Boundary Issues” on July 27, 2021.As part of the presentation, they will review and discuss common and urgent legal challenges that boarding school leaders encounter, from boundary issues to those relating to the latest pandemic. In  interactive breakout groups, you’ll consider various issues and scenarios, while exploring the best methods and suggestions to more effectively and safely manage them with your school’s culture and mission in mind.

David is a director at McLane Middleton and co-chair of the firm’s Education Law Group.  He advises independent schools nationwide and internationally on all aspects of risk avoidance and crisis management.  The focus of David’s practice is the reinforcing of healthy school cultures which promote child safeguarding.  David consults with schools on both prevention of and response to all types of educator misconduct. Susan is vice chair of the firm’s Education Law Group.  She focuses her practice on education and employment, helping clients with general risk management, real-time problem solving, and crisis management. Grounded in thorough legal analysis, she offers practical advice and responsiveness.
