Dick joined the firm in 1980 and has been a director since 1987. Dick served as the firm's Managing Director from 2013 to 2018. He is the former chair of the firm's Corporate Department and concentrates his practice in corporate governance, corporate transactions (M&A), and securities regulation, including SEC regulation, private securities offerings, formation of private investment funds, and registered investment adviser and broker representation.

Dick received his B.A., cum laude, from Union College, his M.A. from Duke University (1976), and his J.D., cum laude, from Cornell University (1980) where he was an editor of the Cornell International Law Journal.

Dick is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Dick has chaired the Corporation, Banking and Business Law Section of the New Hampshire Bar Association and the Bar Association's Continuing Legal Education Committee. He is one of the authors of New Hampshire's Securities Act, a former version of the Business Corporations, and the original New Hampshire Limited Liability Company Acts. Dick is also the New Hampshire liaison to the American Bar Association's Business Law Section Committee on State Regulation of Securities and Committee on Corporate Laws.

Dick served on the Board of Directors and was a chairman of the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire. He was a member of the Business Tax Commission established by the New Hampshire Legislature and served on the New Hampshire Governor's Revenue Estimating Panel. He is on the board of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and he is the chair of the City Year New Hampshire Board. He is past chairman of the Board of Directors of the Manchester Community Health Center and the former Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the New Hampshire Institute of Art. He is a past Trustee and Chairman of the Greater Manchester YMCA, and he continues to serve on various YMCA committees and provides legal counsel to the YMCA. He also has served as chairman of the New Hampshire Bar Pro Bono Referral System Governing Board and served on the Board of Granite State Opera.
